Chicago gadfly, man about town, and fine gentleman Gabe Levinson (who is an associate editor for Make Magazine and deserves a plug for those efforts as well) has put up a lot of cash and moxie to bring two of titans of contemporary animation to Chicago on Friday May 25 and Saturday May 26. The John and Bill Show will bring John Kricfalusi (creator of Ren & Stimpy) and Bill Plimpton together for the first time for discussion, the Chicago premier of Plympton’s new film “Hair High” and a mad marathon of Ren & Stimpy cartoons, old (kid friendly) and new (not so much.)
