Sins 2.0, and Bill Richardson’s Beard

When I, a skeptic and atheist, heard that the Vatican was issuing seven new modern sins to add to the seven original deadly ones, I have to admit, I was intrigued. Would the Vatican actually try to be relevant to the contemporary world or would it continue to peddle the same old archaic, medieval cliches as gospel?

You know what? Take out the first two overtly political sins about birth control (who doesn’t know that the Catholic Church is against birth control?) and “morally dubious” experiments like stem-cell research (boy, those robes are going to be sorry when stem-cell research cures cancer) and the last five modern sins are actually quality modern sins.
