Is Greater Than was an eclectic online magazine that ran from 2007-2011, devoted to the unique, the unknown and the amazing in contemporary culture. Based out of Austin TX, Chicago IL, and San Francisco CA, we published fiction, creative nonfiction, articles and columns by emerging talent around the country (and the world).
Our scope ranged from literature to speculative fiction and personal narratives to intimate reportage. Is Greater Than published a new work of fiction and a new work of narrative nonfiction every week, in addition to serialized comics and columns that cover topics as varied as art and design, independent music, cult film, and emerging and outsider literature.
