Make your voice be heard in the Is Greater Than 2007-In-Very-Brief Year-End Equation! Since the Internet has driven reading comprehension down to a preschool level, the Internet demands the most succinct recaps one can imagine. Not a top ten list, or a well-thought-out essay. Instead, we’re looking for a simple equation.

Here’s the format:

• (thing/experience/idea/meme X) is(was) greater than (thing/experience/idea/meme Y)
• In 45 words or less, provide a proof to your equation.
• In one sentence, tell us who you are, what you do, and give a link to your online space of choice.

X and Y can be a value judgment or a pragmatic judgment. The meaning of “greater than” is open to your interpretation. X and Y need not even be intrinsically related. X and Y could really be anything–personal, public, serious, sarcastic–culture or politics or books or favorite burger places.
